Meet Daletza
Nice to meet you! I’m Daletza— performer, voice teacher, and permanent resident of STAYville…(if you know, you know).
I am extremely passionate about teaching people two things; that they can sing and how to expand and strengthen their voice.
The voice is a unique instrument; a reflection of our body and our mind.
Some singers might need more guidance through mental blocks while some might require isolated work on coordinating physical aspects. Combining these two components creates a harmony between your voice now — and your future voice.
Crossover Voice is about achieving mental freedom by building solid vocal technique to sing however and whatever you want.
Daletza began performing at the age of 2, participating in traditional dance performances in her home country. A natural drama queen, she became involved in theater both on and off stage, before switching gears to begin her musical journey at American River College. In 2019 she graduated with an A.A. in Jazz Studies and Voice Instructor Certificates in Classical and Jazz/Pop styles. Her voice teachers include Michelle Coder, Dr. Art LaPierre, and Lydia Noland Jones (current).
As a "crossover vocalist", she has studied and performed in local musicals, various jazz ensembles and rock bands, recorded for music production company Magic Carpet Music, and performed classical repertoire.
As a voice teacher she has the joy to witness her students thrive in their musical theater careers and reach their vocal goals.
